I was Zetland’s first Intern-Scholar joining when the firm was only 18-months old! I am truly grateful for the thoughtful mentorship I received from the co-founders along with all the senior team. The Zetland program allowed me to quit my job as a barista and start building my CV and gain meaningful skills. I gave between 10-15+ hours a week during term time, received time off to study for exams and had a full-time role during major holidays. This gave me the opportunity to live independently, complete my degree and gain over 2 years of experience at a fast-growing private equity firm, which is a rarefied mix, and one I feel really set me in good stead for the next chapter in my career.
