I first came to Zetland on the work experience programme (WorkX) whilst at Imperial College. It gave me a new insight into private equity and helped me see how I could apply an engineering degree to finance and investing. I ended up staying with the team for over 2 years! I always felt I had a voice and was encouraged to speak up and share my views. I was regularly in meetings and calls alongside senior members of the team, with amazing exposure to live deals, due diligence, fundraising and sourcing that I may not have had at a larger institution, thereby accelerating my learning. Zetland is a place where you are encouraged to learn, lean into your curiosities and ask lots of questions.
