Erik Rijnoudt

Managing Director

Erik is a Managing Director at Zetland Capital. He jointed in October 2022 and has over 25 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Zetland, Erik spent 9 years at Heitman heading their European Asset management department. Previously, Erik spent 8 years at Apollo, managing over €1 billion of real estate assets in Europe. Erik also worked at AXA Real Estate Private Equity and at AEW Europe.

Erik received a M.Sc. in real estate investment from Bayes Business School and a M.Sc. in European property development and planning from Bartlett, UCL. He received a degree in Architecture from the ULB, Faculté d’ Architecture La Cambre-Horta.

Living our Values

I experienced first-hand the power of inclusion and diversity from a young age. I grew up in a multi-cultural family based in a welcoming foreign country. Growing up, I enrolled at the local swimming pool and joint the local water polo team. Despite all of us being different, physically and culturally, we built a winning team achieving exceptional results. Our differences made us strong as we had to learn together to adapt, understand and execute difficult strategies against unforgiving opponents. I personally believe that inclusion and diversity allow to create an environment where success is inevitable and Zetland Capital is a perfect example of a diverse and inclusive workplace.
