Description

An iconic and well-established hotel by River Liffey and in the heart of Dublin city.

The Morrison is a 145-room 4-star boutique hotel in Dublin city centre. Currently branded under Curio by Hilton, the hotel has a legacy of music and artistic influence, especially John Rocha. The hotel was fully refurbished in 2013 by a leading Irish architect Nikki O’Donnell. Today, it is home to two restaurants (Morrison Grill and Halo Restaurant), one bar (Quay 14), three boardrooms and three banqueting facilities for business meetings, weddings, and events.

Opportunity

The Company’s city centre quay-side location is close to all cultural attractions, the IFSC and Dublin Convention Centre. Its popular Morrison Grill restaurant, Quay 14 bar and meeting facilities make the hotel very well-positioned to benefit from the post pandemic recovery of both Leisure and Business tourism in Dublin which has a strong tradition in being a key global destination.

Furthermore, the Company’s lifestyle brand positioning differentiates it from new supply in the coming years, allowing us to capture the rising demand for upper upscale and design-centric propositions.

  • Guest room upgrades to accommodate modern travellers and improve standards of stay
  • Rebranding for a more lifestyle and upmarket proposition that better suits the product and its micro-location
  • New room additions
  • New green accreditations with green tourism
