Javier Galan

Vice President

Javier is a Vice President in the Investments team. Prior to Zetland, Javier developed his expertise in real estate private equity. Since joining Zetland, Javier leverages his real estate experience, expanding his investment coverage from private markets to cover also public traded opportunities across Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Additionally, he is a critical contributor to Zetland’s pan-European hospitality platform.

Before joining Zetland in 2021, Javier gained 7 years of experience in real estate private equity and advisory, having been involved in the sourcing, underwriting, closing and portfolio management of transactions representing over €3bn in a wide range of asset classes. Prior to joining Zetland, Javier worked at Valeo Groupe Europe, Neinor Homes, Hudson Advisors (Lone Star’s Asset Manager), Savills and EY.

Javier holds an MBA from the London Business School, a Masters in Finance from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and a Bachelor in Business Administration from UEM.
